Hamed Haddad Zadegan Received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from University of Southern California . He also has a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Hamed has extensive research background in Water Resources Management, Soil Remediation and Carbon Sequestration.

Hamed Joined City of Los Angeles in 2013 and has worked in different divisions of Bureau of Sanitation. Currently Hamed is a member of Odor Control Group in Wastewater Engineering Services Division of LA Sanitation.

Hamed is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of California. He is also a part time Lecturer at California State University Long Beach.

The Sanitation Districts of LA have been a leader in providing wastewater and solid waste management services to the region since the formation of the first districts in 1923.
